Hope's Story
I married my childhood sweetheart, Brian Akers. To our regret, we are divorcing after 12 years. We have no children.
As for college, I attended Enterprise State Junior College. Then I got a B.A. in journalism from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

My brother, Codie, passed away five years ago. He died at age 20 in a single-car accident. We buried him at Leddon Church Cemetery.
I'd like to return to college for a graduate degree in psychology, sociology, or creative writing.
For fun I read, read, read, and I like to sing karaoke, scrapbook, watch movies, and play with my dogs.
