Howard's Story
School
I didn't like high school nor the teachers. I enjoyed my weekends working and going out with my friends. That was all that i liked about high school. i was so ready to get out of this town and get on with my life. I guess that is why I partied so much when i went to college after HS, and then the military. I sure wish I could go back, because if I could, I would have made the military a career.

School also at Lackland, I was assigned to Manzano Base, which was a nucelar storage depot out in the desert. In 1964, I was assigned to Kirtland AFB also in Albuquerque and worked with the pilots, base senior master sergant, and base commander handling all details that nobody could or would do. Took a lot of flights to other places and did some TDY also. I was honorably discharged in 1966 and came home and went back to college on the GI bill. and the rest is another story. het
