Life
Pets? Yep, cats - 4 of them! (3 now and we miss #4 very very much Apr07)
Kids? No...too selfish. ;)
I am living in Gurnee with my wife Katrina and our "children" (Sidd (#4 Apr07), Nouveau, Bander, and Pogo). I met my wife on a blind date (set up by co-worker who was married to her brother) in 1995. In a whirlwind romance we were married a short 10 years later! Ok, ok, ok, I've heard it all - please refrain from all the cold feet references.
Work life has been nice, nothing fancy but rewarding. Being a 911 operator in Winthrop Harbor and then Gurnee has worked its way from a job to a career in a blink. I'm sure everyone has had similar time rushing by experiences, it sure adds up quick.
I've recently enrolled at CLC in an attempt to learn Spanish (3rd semester now!, Apr07), which will be a large help at work if I stick with it. Boy what a shock...teenagers all over, so young, so very young. Which of course, they aren't THAT young...so the reality must be that I've become old. When did that happen? it looked like I'd actually slim up...but that's a long time ago! In my defense I did quit smoking in 2000, work in a devastatingly sedentary environment, and suffer from a genetic malady doctors in Denmark have titled chronic laziness (still not in the PDRs yet here! Apr07).
With reverent respect I thank my many dear friends and teachers from my years at good ole Waukegan Christian School, Oak Crest Junior High, and Zion Benton Township High. Many of my fondest memories are of us laughing, playing, and crying our way through life's toughest years. While on the serious side, I offer sincerest apologies for any wrongs or sorrow that I may have caused with my many antics - all intended with no malice of heart - but we all know how these things go. Thank you all, and please, please, try to keep in touch.

Military
Never joined the military, but with current events in mind, I felt this might be a great place to say thank you to our brave friends, family, and strangers who serve in the United States Armed Forces. Thank you so much for your courage and dedication! God bless you!
