Hugh's Story
Had 2 choices in 72 stay in school or join military. I chose the latter.
Spent 4 years in USMC, was part of the pullout from Vietnam in 75
Moved to Portland Oregon 78 employed in healthcare. Was still in Guard/Reserve
Traveled in Europe a bit visiting places of old. Im a history nut.
Sat in a pizza joint and watched as St Helens blew her top in early 80s
Still more traveling, multiple lone m/c rides. Restorations of old vehicles, more history research.

h work at Veterans Hospital. Married my beautiful wife Mary in 1998 Life is good . She is my rudder,keeps me balanced.
Got mobilized 2003 with the Guard and sent to Mosul, Iraq for a year doing various missions in a not so friendly enviroment. Retired in 05
We have 3 outstanding boys.Very focused and know what they want in life.
In addition to caring for our elderly parents we assist the elderly in the community. Enjoy gardening and being home.My next project is.......
