Ira's Story
I live in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Some folks are born for retirement and I guess I am one of them.
I worked in a trade for a very long time I finally decided to go back to school and became a lawyer. I did very well at it but decided to retire when my second wife, Roberta, became ill with a serious and chronic disease. Life is too ...Expand for more
short to waste in on work if you can afford to stop. My first wife died of cancer in 1987.
We are very happy here. It is always warm and the culture is very interesting. The whole area is one big window into the past.
I spend most days online, reading and swimming in my pool. It sounds boring but I am always shocked at how fast each week, month and year pass by.
