Irving's Story
Date February 2008--
Went to CU boulder, academic expulsion 1971, excelled in US navy, 72-78, married Estonian beauty in USSR '79, more college, dropped out, taught electronics, semi-professional cyclist, quit it all, including marriage in 1983
Professional student, punk rocker, metal rocker, reggae Rastafarian, teaching assistant in grad school, database programmer in Pascal, Masters' of Science in CS and math, 1991. Hooray!! now 39 yrs old...
Techno freak, sometime bassist and recording producer/engineer for next fifteen years.
Now sober three years (June 2009), underemployed, pumpin' iron, trying another college degree, fighting depression ennui apathy with a grim smile and clarion voice:--

So praying morning/noon/night isn't sufficient, you must do good deeds the prayer extols you to do, and the good works if you work it
I love you all who have had perfect lives from day one..
I guess has mine has been perfect too, it's just that I am still learning that already.
Playing bass still, and realising that my disappointments are just that-- got over some, working on others and not so much as making plans as pushing myself thru this "pit stop" and in training for the rest of my life.
Back in school, seeking MA in T Ed, met a couple ppl who push me so far and hope I get over the bump on my own: I hope one will be the one.
