Ivan's Story
Life
Hello Fiends,
I spent my first nine years after high school snow skiing and working at ski resorts in Colorado and New Mexico.
I got lucky or smart in 1981 while running room service at a hotel (good way to pay for skiing) the Boulder Broker Inn in Boulder Co. where I meet Ava. We married in September of 1981.
After Boulder I took a job as a manager at Breeze Ski Rental in Mammoth Lakes, Ca. I loved it; Ava hated it and the next year we moved to Albuquerque New Mexico.
I went to school, from 1982 - 1985 in Albuquerque for Data Processing. Ava and I refer to our stay as the lean years, no money and living on love. Our first daughter -Dana Elizabeth Ha...Expand for more
milton- was born in August 1983 in Albuquerque.
We moved to New Orleans, LA where I took work as a Thermal Protection Specialist for Lockheed / Martin. A fancy way to say a spray painter for the Space Shuttle's external tank. As life goes, the space shuttle blew up and I was unemployed.
In 1985 I started work for a small electronics company in Bay St. Louis, MS. I worked as a CAD (computer aided Design / Drafting) Manager for nine years - the boom years. Our second daughter Cassandra Lynn Hamilton was born in 1988.
The following years were spent in Mobile, Alabama; Phoenix, AZ.
