School WOW!! This is so funny. Everyone knows who my "crush" was at that time...it was NO secret. I guess some things will never change as we have remained close friends even up until the present time!! Hummm...the teacher that inspired me the most was Mrs. Bess. , she was the perfect African American example. She pushed us to never give up, stay determined and when becoming exhausted and aggrevated, keep pressing on. As kids I really don't think we comprehended the message, but now that I am an adult with a child of my own, her message continues to ring loud and clear!
