Life
Hi. After college, I spent two years at an Indian boarding school in South Dakota. It was a very cool experience - the best yet in my life. I learned so much about the Lakota culture, about people, about life, and about myself. I've been back to visit four times. Now, I find myself teaching middle school history in Longmeadow, MA. long time. Tomatoes, eggplant, cucumbers, potatoes, corn, basil, oregano, etc., etc. The raccoons ate more of the corn than me, so I've given up on it - I will grow winter squash next summer instead. The yard is great, it came with grapes, blueberries, apple, pear, and cherry trees. Since I am a school teacher, I still work at Camp Shepard during the summer. I really enjoy it. Luna the cat is the queen around here - chasing all other wildlife out of her yard.
