Jack's Story
Life
After leaving high school spent 3 years in Navy aboard the USS Thomas Gary. Then worked for N.A.T.O. in Germany for 1 Year.
Upon my return went to work for Sealright traveling the east
coast for 5 years. Finally setteled down and worked for IBM for
33 years and retired in 2000. Married Patrica Hayes from Rochester and have 3 sons. We sold our house in Vermont in
2004 and now travel the country in an RV.
College

in Vermont attended University of Vermont
nights majoring in math. I was 40 at the time and sat in class
with 18 and 20 year olds. Was hard learning to study after so
many years away from school.
Military
3 years Navy aboard the USS Thomas Gary which did North Atlantic Picket duty. We were the seaward extention of the
radar early warning system (DEW LINE), looking for the Russian.
Did not see much of the world but did see a lot of Water.
