Hey everyone... Here's the long and short of life after FC... Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI. Graduated 1997 with Elementary Ed. (concentrations in general sciences & language arts) LOVED COLLEGE - Ice, roller, street hockey,hockey,hockey. New Beginnings Contemporary Christian Singing Group (met my awesome husband there my freshman year), Capus Crusade for Christ, on-campus apartment president, then 2 years as an R.A. doing residence life etc., Club Canada, airband, Small Group Leader, camping, friends, etc. Married on July 19, 1997 - a bit after graduation to Mark Reitsma - Secondary Ed. grad with geology and environmental studies concentrations and a second major in Geology. We spent time at a bed & breakfast in Washington State and then headed up into British Colombia and camped, hiked...Expand for more
, etc. at Manning Provincial Park. The day we got back we moved here to the NW suburbs of Chicago and I have worked the past 3 years at Willow Creek Community Church in the youth ministry program. It has been extremely emotionally demanding but I LOVE IT!

I am now entering my second year of the Masters of Professional Counseling Program at Argosy University / Illinois School of Professional Psychology. So we have 4 of the cutest kitties... Mark & I love - Jesus, the outdoors, reading, coffehouses, Barnes & Noble, teaching, ministry (to teenagers but also to anyone)... We hope to get to move to the Denver area in Colorado next summer (2005). Teach, be involved in youth or counseling ministries, be a part of planting a church..? We'll see!
