Jackie's Story
Wow here I am ...so many years later. High school was a crazy and wild time for me. At Chaffey I was a HELLRAISER and I was always in detention.I voraciously harrassed the cheerleaders, ran from the procters on a daily basis and got caught smoking in the girls gym locker room all the time. I was a bit of a flirt,and only dated jocks or smoking hot guys (or so I thought they were at the time).I bullied the nerd kids and constantly challenged my teachers until they would finally kick me out of class. I really was a MESS! I do not know why Chaffey gave me so many chances to clean up my act.It wasn't until I met some great teachers and mentors that my life began ...Expand for more
to change.I excelled in English, enjoyed taking drama, and began seeing a peer counselor.My favorite teachers at Chaffey were Mr. Semon -PE, Mr. Grip -Math, and the beloved Mr. Porter- English(he always made me believe I could do anything).
Currntly in 2009, I am a boring mom with two great kids. I am working on my Masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy from the University of La Verne and hope to have my license soon to open up my own practice.My long term goal is to obtain a doctoral degree in psvchotherapy specializing in Childhood mental health disorders. Growing up feels good but I do miss my hellraising days in high school....CHAFFEY TIGERS RULE!!!
