Jackie's Story
Life
I remarried in 2003 after divorcing in 1991. Between my husband and I we have 8 children and 6 grandchildren. 3 children are his step-children, but we claim them. two are his and 3 are mine. We currently have 4 at home. (3) 17 year old girls and a 15 year old girl. We live in Southern Indiana. My husband and I both work for an Oil and Gas company.
School
I moved too many times to have a good school experience. That and being shy was not a good thing. My folks were very strict, so no dances, dating, anything of that sort. So all in all, NO I would not do it again.
College
I attended Dawson Community College right after high school, but after my strict upraising, partying became more important. Typical rebellious action...Expand for more

In 1993, I decided to go back to school. Not an easy chore since my kids were only 3 years old. But I managed, Went to school, was a full time Mommy and babysat for 2 other kids, Lost both of my Grandpas, and my "second" mom and had a child I put up for adoption and still managed to get a 3.5 GPA. Amazing what a little incentive will do.
Workplace
I've held lots of different jobs. Convenience stores, Seamstress, motel maid, and Librarian. I helped run our construction company and ran it by myself when my husband's health got to a point that he couldn't. Yeah, I can hang drywall, do plumbing, wiring, lay tile, carpet and linoleum. Really all in all there's not a lot I can't do in remodeling. Now I have a prissy office job.
