Jacqueline's Story
I am presently known as Jacqueline E. Sharpe who is married to a dentist, Dr. Isiah R. Sharpe, III, who I met on active duty as a Navy Nurse. We have been married for 40 years. I spent nearly 30 years in the USN and retired in 2001 as a Captain (06). My husband and I have 2 daughters and 2 sons. I received my PHD in 1997. forward to making another career change this fall to another job. My dear friend, Sandra Woodruff and I have remained friends since childhood; we grew up in the same neighborhood in Spartanburg. That picture of me was taken when I was 61; I am now 66-so it is a recent photo. We are all blessed to be able to communicate with each other.
