James (Jim)'s Story
Life
Graduated from OU. Worked in oil and gas business as an engineer. Did some parttime teaching at OU (business school) in the 90's. Have worked on my own last 12 years. Get paid to stand up and tell stories. What a gig. Get to travel around the country and Europe. The glamour of travel has worn off some but it is still enjoyable. Married 25 years this time. Have a son, Steve 28 and a daughter Katie, 15. She is a good student and athlete. Steve works for NASA on the new man-to-the-moon project. station. Have appeared on national TV and in books on twins. Mostly enjoying life; more since leaving the corporate world. Dad, 93, passed away in April 2009. He had 92 good years in Henryetta. When I visit home, I sometimes drive around town remembering all the good times. Remember the swinging bridge? Site of many an escapade. HHS was a lot of fun and there were many, many cool people then. You know who you are! Hope to hear from some of you. The younger generation is carrying this country to heck in a hand basket (didn't they say that about us in the 60's?) Try not to sweat the small stuff.
