Life
I was a science educator from 1995 to 2000. I became a teacher after seeing an ad calling for people to enter the field of teaching. Graduating from Oklahoma State in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education (Science) was the completion of a personal goal, as well as the fulfillment of a promise made to my grandparents years before. I spent 2 years teaching in Boynton, Oklahoma. I then taught at Boley High School. Boley Public Schools is a small rural district that serves K-12 students. I taught 9th through 12th grade science and computer science I also served as the class sponsor for the class of 2002 and as National Beta Club Sponsor. ers of Science in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Instructional Technologies from OSU in 2000. I then served as the Instructional Design Specialist for Madonna University in Livonia, MI where I helped over 400 professors integrate technology into their curriculum. I also served as an associate professor of Education, teaching graduate students how to incorporate technology in their own classrooms.
I am currently the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. I am also *finally* working on my doctorate, an EdD in College Teaching!
I have been married to the world's most wonderful woman since December of 1991. She is the love of my world, the breath of my life and my eternal companion. She is also the mother of our only child, Jameson. This breath of fresh air blew into our life after 12 years of unsuccessful but much fun reproductive practice on Feb 26, 2004.
