James's Story
Life
...After leaving Savannah and my beloved Savannah High School Band, I moved to Mount Prospect, Illinois, where I went to Hersey High School for the remainder of my Junior Year. From there, we moved to Oak Park, Illinois, where I attended and graduated from Oak Park River Forest. Upon graduation, I joined the US Navy. . After a brief tour of VAQ-129 (and EA6-B squadron) and a brand new son, Julian, I got orders back to Japan, this time aboard the (now retired) USS Independence. From there, I was stationed at VAW-115, CVW-5 detachment and NAF Atsugi's AIMD when it was still a part of the base and not a separate command. After living in Japan for a total of ten years, becoming semi-fluent in Japanese language and culture, we decided to get stationed in beautiful Kaneohe, Hawaii. Though Hawaii was beautiful, I decided that the Navy was no longer for me and we moved to sunny Jacksonville, Florida, where I now reside. I now co-own a successful record label called Hitworks Entertainment and I am a licensed mortgage broker currently helping people create brighter financial futures nationwide at First Florida Financial!
