of 1969, and my wife Peggy (Glenn) and I were married in November. Peggy grew up in the Sunbury- Centerburg area and attended Big Walnut HS (1965). Peg and I moved to Zanesville where I went back to school at Muskingum Tech and received an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Our son Andrew was born in Zanesville, and I worked in the engineering dept. at Essex International on Linden Ave. while in school. We moved to the Sunbury - Centerburg area after I graduated, and I worked as a mechanical designer for Alden E Stilson and assoc. in Columbus for several years. We purchased our 6 acres here in the country between Sunbury and Centerburg in 1974. I took a job with Ag Chem Equipment Co. and traveled the eastern US and Canada for several years as a service rep. Early in the 80s I started an outdoor power equipment business here at home, and ran that until the oportunity came up to take a job with the postal service as a rural letter carrier at the Galena Ohio post office.I captained Charter boats on western lake Erie on weekends and I carried Rt. 2 for a little over 17 years. When I needed surgery, I took my retirement from the postal service, and have done part time merchandising work since then, as well as working in my wood and metal shop and greenhouses here at home. I spend time maintaining the web page for our "Heart of Ohio Pets" group and enjoy flight simulator on the computer. Our Son Andrew, his wife Regina, our gandson Dakota, and our grandaughter Cheyenne live outside Danville ohio.
