James's Story
Life
After four years in the Navy, I went to college and then law school at the University of California, Berkeley. I moved up to Seattle in 1988, where I was a Public Defender for a few years. It was during that time that I met my wife, Fran, an attorney who was practicing in the same courthouse. We discovered we had a lot of shared interest (camping, go...Expand for more
od wine, mysteries). We now have two boys and a surprisingly mellow Dalmatian. Life is good.
In terms of work, I have focused on criminal and civil trials, with a few years of appellate law tossed in for good measure. I also handled Allstate's special investigation cases for three years. Currently, I am a partner in the firm of Dixon & Cannon, Ltd.
