Life
Greetings from Portland, Oregon. Would love to hear from any other 1983 grads!
After graduating WMC, I attended Colgate University in upstate New York, then transferred to Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts where I got a BA in Journalism. I worked for several years as a newspaper report then moved to Portland for law school and never looked back.
Portland is a great place for outdoor recreation, and the scenery is amazing. I spend my free time playing golf, skiing, hiking, camping, fly fishing, riding bikes and finding cool places to eat and drink. I practice law in a downtown firm and live with my girlfriend and her two daughters.
Portland is a good vacation spot in the summer. Look me up if you are in town!

After graduating WMC and college, I worked as a newspaper reporter in Massachusetts. Then I moved to Portland, Oregon in 1991 for law school and never looked back.
Portland is a great place for outdoor recreation, and the scenery is amazing. I spend a lot of my free time playing golf, skiing, hiking, camping, fly fishing for trout and steelhead, riding bikes and doing other cool outdoor stuff. The summers are great. In the 80s and rarely humid, and they last through September and sometimes well into October. It does get a little wet during the rest of the year, but it beats shoveling snow. And the mountains are within reach for an easy day trip for skiing.
