Hi my name is James, some of you may remember me as Zeka, graduated from C A Brown,in 1975, I entered the United States Armywhere I spent most of my enlistment time in Seattle, Tacoma, Washington state, until 1979. I returned to Charleston. I graduated from Trident technical College with an associate degree in business, technology. I got married in 1982, father three boys, JaMichelle,Daniel, Temetriue Mazyck. I struggled with substance abuse disorder on till 1997. In 1999 I open my own business as J and J Marble & Granite, in Charleston, South Carolina. I operated J&J Marble & Granite as a family business until the housing meltdown in 2009. ng meltdown, my wife and I relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. I obtained my service-connected disability, I am 100%service-connected disabled. According to the federal government. I graduated from CPC C community college of Charlotte in 2015 with an associate degree In Human Services, concentration, substance abuse counselor. I am presently attending Pfeiffer University and will graduate in 2017 with a Bachelors Degree In Human Relations, with a concentration of substance abuse prevention, and substance abuse related to criminal justice. With the will of God. I will continue at Pfeiffer University to obtain my Masters in Family and Marriage therapy. This is my story, and I am sticking to it, that would not be possible without Jesus Christ my savior.
