oreign Wars of the United States, Department of Pacific Areas (The Western Pacific Area). I just attended a convention in the Philippines where I completed my year as Commander. Our Department includes: Philippines, Saipan, Guam, Thailand, Cambodia, Korea, Japan, Okinawa and Taiwan.
Last November I was a guest of the Veterans Affairs Commission, Republic of China (Taiwan). Was provided diplomatic status during my visit to ROC Veteran Homes and Hosipital. At an award banquet I was presented with the Medal of Honor by a member of the ROC Government. I was spoiled rotten by very gracious hosts, but it had to come to an end after four days.
I hope to attend our next Class of 64 Reunion.
