James's Story

I was the music teacher at LAS from 2002 to 2004. I staged two shows, grew the HS music option class to a performing ensemble of over 20 players, and took a choir to SAISA in New Delhi, where one of our singers took a solo spot in the gala performance. But the self-important buffoon appointed to succeed Tom Tunny as superintendent felt I was surpolus to requirements, so my wife and I left. onal school in Yangon, Burma (Myanma). We were there until 2008. Yangon International School is a success story. I wrote the school song, a special song for the "moving on" ceremony, and two shows for the students. We are now back in New Zealand, where Mrs. Middleton is the principal of a primary school. I wrote a show for her, and them, in the year we returned. I am now trying not to retire, though I haven't taught since mid-2010
