School
I am a second grade teacher. I have taught for 14 years. I have taught 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 9,10,11,12 grades in San Antonio and Rio Grande City, Edinburg, Sharyland. I work for San Antonio ISD. I teach in a school on the Westside of San Antonio. It can be rough teaching kids in the "HOOD" but it is still a great profession. I have been in the classroom long enough where some of my former students are now at a University and strangley enough I have run into some of them from time to time. It is a good feeling to know that you have in somehow and in some way had a purpose in this life and that you have made a difference in some way. I have a BA from Pan American University . I have an MA from University of Texas San Antonio. I graduated from Project ZERO Institute for teaching gifted and talented children at Harvard University in Boston in the Summer of 2003. I will be starting a PH D program at Our Lady of the Lake University (San Antonio) this next January. My long term goal is to keep teaching my little kids in school and working as a professor at a University. I love my work. It is tedious and time consuming but it is very rewarding to me. Teaching is serious business. The mind of any human being is very fragile. I am happy to be a part of molding young minds.
