James's Story
Went to UofA - Fayetteville right out of high school, B.A. in journalism in 1978., Spent 20 years in broadcasting - mostly in Albuquerque. Went back to UofA, got a master's in teaching (M.A.T.) in 2005 and an Ed.S. (post master's degree) in 2021 - & have been teaching ever since. Now the crazy librarian/programs coordinator in a middle school here in southern New Mexico. Divorced, unfortunately - but finding my way. Lots of scientific research in this area so have met and made friends with scientists, military people, researchers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Love my job, working with young people is its own singular joy & privilege.
