James's Story
Chronological "factoids": Graduated O'Fallon Tech: 01/1966; University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL): 02/66 - 05/68 and 09/70 - 12/71, BS, Administration of Justice (AOJ); Enlisted U.S. Army active and Reserve: 06/68 - 06/74, 01/75 - 06/07; Webster University: 1974-1976, MA, Administration of Justice/Public Administration; 01/72-07-97, United States Treasury, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) Special Agent, retired; Married Donna 04/72; From 07/97 - 03/16 when I fully retired, Special Investigator (security background investigator) for Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and FBI; U.S. Army Criminal Investigator (C.I.D. Special Agent) 01/75-06/07, retired as Chief Warrant Officer 4/CW4 after 38 total years of service. Two sons, an unmarried English Professor and his younger married brother who has 4 children. Roadster. A friend and I swapped and built engines and did most body work and welding except FOR final painting. Also into landscaping and upkeep of my 2-1/4 acre property (affectionately known as "STATELY JIMBO MANOR"!), and have a large Polaris ATV and a Kawasaki Mule utility truck for property upkeep, fun riding at home and in the wilds of rural Perry County, MO.
Currently, since I'm FULLY retired from Federal Law Enforcement and criminal and background investigative work after 44 years, now it's travel, upkeep of my above mentioned home and property in Oakville, MO, and spending as much time as possible with my grandchildren, three boys and one girl who live nearby in the Sappington area of South St. Louis County, MO. Sold my last restorable car, a 1979 Ford Ranchero GT, in 2018, so my shop gets used for upkeep of ATVs, mowers, UTVs and maintenance and repair of mine and friend's vehicles., as well as fixing everything else! Wife Donna still is big into gardening and keeping 2-1/4 acres as close to looking like the Missouri Botanical Garden as she can, with occasional help from ME!
