James Wilson:  

us Chrisit Texas. I started as a Patrolman and during that time I worked in boat patrol and in bike patrol, both were fun, but there is such of a thing of too much beach and sand. I was promoted to Detective where I worked my way up and became Lead Detective. During this time I investigated anything from theft's to murder's. I specialized in computer forensics, crime scene forensics and fire and arson crimes. From there I was promoted to City Fire Mashall where I investigated all fires and delt with commercial building contractors on developement of new contruction... Yuk!!! That was not me... Three years ago I had the opportunity to promote to Patrol Sergeant and this is were I am currently assigned. I have a brand new office, but spend very little time there. I supervise the officer's on my shift and train new cadets. Due to the changing times, the school shooting on my shift, the officer shooting on my shift, the barricaded double murder/suicide we assisted with on my shift, our department is forming a SWAT Team. I was fortunate to make the team and will be the teams Sergeant. My goals that I have left is to attend the National FBI Academy and finish out my career as Patrol Commander. In 14 months I will have my 20 years in and can retire, but my plan is to do this job till the day it is not fun anymore. Military Wish I would have gone!
