Jamie's Story

Life Bryan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on September 15th and were married on September 16th. Our daughter is almost 4. She is in dance class and is starting soccer 3/24/05. Our baby boy is 8 months old and just started taking steps. I'm sure he will play football like his daddy, he is a big boy. My sister Jessica was married in October and is expecting a baby girl in August 2005. We are all doing well and would like to hear from anyone that wants to say hi! See Ya. School I am at CCSN and am in the third semester of the Nursing program. I finished last semester with an A and two B's, despite having my baby just 5 weeks prior to the start of school. If all goes as planned, I will graduate in December 2005 and take the NCLEX January or February 2006. By March I will be a licensed practicing Registered Nurse. ll in the program, but it is hard especially with kids to take care of. Bryan is busy working full time but plans to pursue a Law degree once I am finished with school. Workplace I resigned from my job at ULTA in October 2000 after 1 1/2 years of work. I got a job at Babies R Us in November 2000 and worked there, as well as at Glamour Shots until I got a job as a Unit Secretary at Lake Mead Hospital in January 2001. I worked there per diem until July 2002 and then resigned due to the fact that I was working towards acceptance into Nursing School at CCSN and having difficulty working, taking care of my daughter, and going to school. I intend to obtain a job as a Nurse Apprentice in May and work as a NAP until I begin work as an RN. Bryan is managing a video game store full time while I attend school. He plans to continue his pursuit of a Law degree as soon as I can support the family financially.
