Life
The Reunion was great!!! Everyone looked great and seemed to be doing well for themselves. I hope everyone that didn't make it is doing well too.
As for my personal life, We just got back from NC's Fontana Dam. Where we stayed for a week to Bike on Deals Gab (The Dragons Tail) and travel on the blue Ridge parkway. Needless to say, I wussed out on the Deals Gap ride after the first Mile. 318 turns in 11 miles was a bit much for my beginner self, especially with all of the hairpin turns. But Ronnie and his dad, and brother got great footage of it with the camcorder on the gas tank. His brother even went over the side of it with the camera. Luckily he and the bike were able to keep going with only superficial wounds. My son stayed home with my brother and his family. We plan on going again soon, now that I think I can do it. 7/2006 We went back to Fontana Dam NC and I did it. I got a new bike after our last ride a 636R and had a blast. Now i think our roads down here are boring. I want to try the track after I have some more miles under my belt.
6/2007 Just got back from Marathon Isle in Key west. it was my 1st time goin to the keys. I didn't get to see too much of the night life, was looking so forward to people watching though, would've been so much fun, but the evenings brought rain. Next time I am definately going with alot of spending money. I wanna pair of those $60 Reefs you can drink with( kinda gross but u know u wanna pair too!) Going to Stone Mountain GA next month and by the way, I'm home full time now if you wanna look me up. I am always looking to go to the beach or something! A
