Jan Barfield's Story
I've lived in various parts of Florida since '64, but in '89, at the 25th reunion, I 'remet', and started dating Mike Freed. Mike warns everyone he can about going to class reunions - we've been married since '94. Neither of us have children, but we have managed to accumulate four-legged household members.
I've been in the banking industry for the majority of my working life. Started in 1973 and, as of now (2010) am still there. (Had a few lapses in there but for 30+ years, it's been my livelihood.)

l I had attended in GA (a 4 yr high school with an enrollment of 650 where it was an excused absence to plant tobacco!!). But, throughout my adult life, I have been so thankful for CHS. It was the second step of my coming out of my 'shell' - the first being the high school in GA. Anyone who knows me NOW can't believe it when I tell them I was a very shy, quiet kid!
Life seems to throw curveballs at all of us.....all the ones thown at me have actually helped me! And, life goes on.........
