Life I am a free-lance cellist in the Los Angeles area. I used to do a lot of studio work, but now my work is mainly playing in various orchestras and also playing for lots of weddings and parties. I am also President of Last Resort Music Publishing, Inc., which I started in 1996 with my son and daughter-in-law. My life is a nice balance of playing music and publishing music. I also find time for my son and daughter and their spouses (everyone is a professional musician!) and my seven grandchildren. I definitely am enjoying my life at the present time! Now that we have the virus with us, all of my orchestra and wedding work is cancelled, so my husband of almost 8 years (Joel Lish, a violist/conductor) whom I first met in 1963!) and I have been putting on viola and cello concerts every Sunday afternoon - we started on the front porch on Easter Sunday, but after a few weeks of increasingly hot sun on the front porch, we moved to the back patio.
