Jana's Story
Well, I went off of CM for years and just decided to return! I no longer live south of Bossier. I now live south of Shreveport. In about 10 minutes I am in DeSoto parish.
I am still me. Well, most of the time. I do get to see my classmates and others from time to time. As I'm able to I do run to logansport. Why? It is because a my heart remains there.
Since I was on here last, 10 years ago in 2013, I lost my youngest son Derek. He was active military, Air Force, and wound up being one of 22 a day to end their lives. A part of me is forever gone and I still feel it and I imagine I'll feel it until I die. That is part of being a mama who loves their kids.
I didn't put this out there before but everybody on Facebook knows it that are my friends so I'm going to tell everybody here. I was diagnosed in 2007 with multiple sclero...Expand for more
sis. It is relapse remitting so I have some very good days then I have some very bad days it just depends. But I still love to go. Get in the car and go somewhere just as I did in High School. (Oh! The times I snuck off from Logansport and drove to Shreveport! That is how I knew the streets of Shreveport at 15, I was driving everywhere at 13!). I still love to go and travel.
I can not say enough good things about my class of 1979. They all helped and supported me at the funeral of my son Derek and my mother Alice, My daddy died about a year and a half ago. I miss them so much.
I will always be a Piggly Wiggly girl :).
I am not sure why they put me as graduating in 1978. I'm working on figuring out how to change that now. I need my senior yearbook on here! Anyway I hope to hear from people especially the ones that don't do FB,
