Jane (Mrs.Don) Williamson Pierce:  

I married Don Pierce (Central High School, KCMO 1958) as soon as I graduated. We lived in Lee's Summit then in Indep. for 9 years. In 1967 we had our first child, Kristy, then Kenton and then Karl. Moved to Blue Springs for 29 years till we retired in 2002. I worked as an optician. I started and ran Diamond Vision Opticial at 40 and 291 for almost 8 years. In 1997 I sold my company to Discover Vision Centers in Independence and the Kansas City area. I was manager of 5 optical stores for them. I retired at 54 in 2001 for health reasons (in 1985 I was a pedestrian and hit by a pickup truck). We enjoy our life in Warsaw. Don says we retired down here to play with our (His) toys.
