jane's Story
I graduated in the Summer of '56 and married my high school sweetheart, Jewel D. Weeks (he goes by J.D.these days). We divorced in 1974. We have three grown children and 10 grandchildren. Both daughters still live and raise families in B'ham (Gardendale Area). Stephen, my son, works for BP (yep! that one) and is presently leaving England after a 5 year assignment....he and his family are moving back to Houston this Fall. My grandchildren are all ages as you can guess and are all over the place. Bless them! I came to Houston some 10 years ago to baby sit a house while Stephen and his family were in Russia...been here ever since. I used to say, who would not like living where they place Golden Oldies and Cowboy music in the grocery store? But have since regretted that! Being in TX is a mess these days....Expand for more

I spent almost 17 years working for Comm. Workers of America -- did not go to college until after the divorce and graduated at age 45....have since earned a couple of Masters -- one in Lib. Arts and one in Pastoral Ministries from St. Mary's at Winona, Minn. I worked for almost 10 years as the Dir. of Indian Affairs in Alabama and then for 6 on an Indian Rez in South Dakota -- which I loved and wished I had stayed longer. Spent 3 years in Louisiana working in parish ministry for Shreveport Diocese. Then, came to Texas.
L:ots of my close friends from high school are no longer with us but I still think of them and each of you fondly and with great wonder....drop my a note when you can and have a GREAT LIFE....blessings! jane LYNN Pearson
