Janet's Story
Life
Moved to CA from PA in 1963 when I was 14. Worked for State of CA for 32 years then retired to care for my husband who suffered a massive stroke in 1997. Moved to MD to be close to his children (have none of my own) and his brother. My step-daughter has two children, ages 6 & 4, who we dote on. My stepson and his wife in CA have a boy who was 3 on May 31. So my husband and I are the proud grandparents of 3. My immediate family is still on the West Coast. Will probably st...Expand for more
ay in MD as I found out that I like the change of seasons. Didn't realize I missed them. Also have two dogs who are like my kids. They are spoiled rotten but make good watch dogs as they bark at everyone who goes by. Would like to hear from anyone who remembers me from PA or CA.
Update:
My husband of 24 years passed away on April 11, 2009. It was not an unexpected happening. He had been very ill for a while. I still intend on staying in Maryland as my life is now here.
