Janet's Story
Life
July 2008 update
Family: Single mom with 2 kids ages 9 and 10. Some of my family still live in the area. My parents moved into a nearby 55+ community. Brenda is in Downingtown area and Sandee is in Coopersburg near Allentown. April is living happily in Florida (not far from Disney!!!). Career: I completed degrees in Engineering from PSU and Villanova and worked for several years in hardware and software design. I eventually moved into Sales Engineering and left to raise a family. I returned to work as a Sales Executive for an Engineering Software company in 2006 and currently own a part-time e-commerce business. My hobbies include skiing, genealogy, and some local theater. I love to travel but haven't done much recently. I also love to explore new activities and places. My dream is to travel with the kids and experience more of the world. Spiritual: I am a faithful person and am recharging my relationship with God. I attend church regularly and am enjoying my re-energized relationship with God and my faith. I would love to reconnect with anyone from East. I have great memories.

tudy! PSU had great tailgate parties before every game. I usually went to parties on Wed, Fri, and Sat nights once I got my school work done. (Parties didn't start til after 10pm anyway). And I had some great roomates. One floor of girls actually moved someone's whole bedroom into the bathroom! I lived with another Janet for a year and we had fun trying to figure out who the phone calls were for! And Kendra and I stayed friends after college. She lives in LA now. One of my best memories is sneaking into Beaver Stadium and climbing to the top row of seats to watch a meteor shower.
Workplace
My best job was at Sun Microsystems as a Sales Engineer. I worked hard and met some great people who were fun to work with. Our training and sales meetings were incredible. Sun would rent an entire amusement park for the evening and we could ride as many times as we wanted. The food was incredible too. Once they rented a museum/planetarium and served rack of lamb, prime rib, sushi, shrimp, you name it! and of course all you could drink. Another time they rented a laser tag place. What a trip! And once I went to Hawaii for an award trip. Oh, and I liked my job too. ;-)
