Janet's Story
Life
After graduating, I attended UCLA and became a Physical Therapist. I worked in Rehab for 8 years, earned a Master's degree at USC and then began teaching there. I went back to school again at LSU for a Ph.D in Physiology and came to Fresno State where I was on the faculty for 20 years, the last 3 of which I chaired the Physical Therapy Department. I retired in 2004, but still do occasional part-time teaching and special projects when I am in town.

biology from Fresno State then backpacked around the world for a year and a half. When she came home she finished her teaching credential, taught high school science here and in Placerville. She is an ardent outdoors person, snow-boarder and traveler. Met a wonderful young man on the top of a mountain, married and now lives in Atascadero where she presented our 2nd granddaughter. We sold our big house, purchased an RV and have traveled a lot. Mostly USA and Mexico. Have also seen Australia, Guatemala and Costa Rica, some parts of Europe, Alaska, Chile and Peru. Macchu Picchu should be on everyone's bucket list.
