16 June 2008 After moving around the New England area for a few years, I moved to jolly Old England 20 years ago with my husband. I'm enjoying single life again, having divorced him 10 years ago - I have no plans or aspirations to ever marry again! I'm too independent for that. I just take life as it comes and deal with it. I'm a Corporate Finance Partner in a large UK accounting firm in the middle of the country (The Midlands). That sector used to be called Merger and Acquisition and I still get a really big buzz from negotiating a deal between a buyer and seller and project managing it through to successful completion. I make my own hours, so it's up to me how much I want to do, but I'm currently seeking to build up a team to take over from me and hopefully, one day soon, do my own corporate disposal and sell them my partnership. I live about 4 miles from Althorpe Manor (Princess Di's ancestral home) and abour 45 miles from London. I've actively involved in Rotary, and though there is quite a bit of charity work involved through the Rotary, and have recently resigned my seat on the village council - too much governmental paperwork and juggling of work schedule vs council meetings!
