Time flies! It was 1968 an now it is 2021! And, whatever we thought was lousy before has certainly blindsided us all, world-wide, by COVID-19! I don't know about you all, but for almost the last year, I've been working from home and am bug-eyed by the computer from work and doing virtual work, all of which is and never has been on my 'wish list'. Since graduating highschool, I returned to school and that kept me busy and out of trouble for a number of years. I ended up in social work and have been working at Baycrest Health Care Sciences and now into my 36th year! That is hard to believe because I thought I'd stay a year or two and boom--it's 2021 and I'm still there! I am thinking about retiring and know it is going to be sometime this year--just when -- well it's wait and see with COVID. As a student, I could sleep all day--that's pretty much done as the older you get, the less sleep you seem to get and then it's too late for 'catch-up' time.
