Janice's Story
After high school, I attended UNI and majored in music education because it was easy for me. I really didn't 'want' to teach, but my parents wanted me to get an education, and I needed to declare a major.
Got married in 1984 and had my only child, a son in 1984.
Life
I survived a massive stroke January 11, 2001. It affected my left side. Before that I ran my own photography business out of my home.
Now, I'm on disability and the business is over.
It sucks getting old!!!! :(
My husband and I got rid of our house phone and use cell phones only now.

The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Louanda McClure, because she was a good friend back in the day.
My first job was at Tony's LaPizzaria on the College Hill of UNI, where I got paid $1/hr to wait tables. What I remember most about it is a 'big' night for tips would be a whole $.45 wow...college students don't tip.
