Janie's Story
Life
After my freshman year at Judson College, I went back home to Milton, Florida, and attended PJC my sophomore year. Then I attended UWF and Stetson University, and finished my senior year at UWF. After receiving a Bach. of Music Ed. degree, I worked in a music store in Pensacola; I worked in my dad's State Farm Insurance office; and then was hired at Pace High School to teach music.

Miss. and received a Master's of Music Ed. and an Ed.S (Education Specialist) degree in Education and Music.
I have now been teaching at Pace High School for 24 years, where I enjoy teaching Chorus, Piano, Guitar, and Music Theory.
I married in 1980 to Ernie Parker, who grew up in Brewton, Al. We love to travel and do so frequently, which is easy since we have no children.
We enjoy golf, tennis, scuba diving, and hiking. We thank God for blessing us so!
