Janie's Story
After graduation, I got married and have been married every since. I have two wonderful children. My daughter is a teacher at Cass Middle School where she is the Varsity Basketball Coach. She is 26 years old. My son is 22 years old and he attends Kennesaw State University and is seeking a degree in Information Systems. He hopes to graduate in less than 2 years. As for myself, I will graduate this December with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. My husband works at Shaw Industries in Calhoun, Georgia. fice until July, 2006 before quitting to go back to school full time. It has been worth every bit of it to go back to school. I would not change anything that I did after graduation. I played softball for Oakhill Baptist Church for 2 years after graduation and enjoyed it. I watched my daughter play softball, basketball, and run track. She was on a traveling softball team and it was a joy to go and watch her. My son on the other hand did not like playing sports so he started fixing up his cars when he turned 16. He works two jobs and goes to school.
