Life is great. I retired from the Air Force after 23 years (I entered at age 29) and retired from the State of Maryland after working for 10 years as a program manger in the Military Department.
Pretty much keep busy by doing free lance projects
After graduating from Peabody, I taught for a while in Baltimore, then left to pursue my Masters at Kent State University. When I returned to Baltimore I taught for a year in Arbutus then left teaching to play in the Air Force Band in Washington DC. ck of all trades including being assistant to the music producer for the movie Gods and Generals.
I am married with no kids. I still live in Catonsville and enjoy Civil War re-enacting with the Federal City Brass Band and the 26th North Carolina Regimental Band.
I am involved with veterans affairs and serve as a commissioner appointed by the governor on two commissions-Military Monuments and Suicide Prevention.
A lot of my work has been published and although I'm not getting rich off royalties :) it is neat to see my name in print for a musical arrangement or article of a historic nature.
