Jason's Story

From West Baltimore, MD I am that same dude you have all come to know (and perhaps even love) over the years. From Forest Heights, to Dickey Hill, to Fallstaff Middle, to Carver High, to UMES and finally landing in Delaware, I am still that dude, Jason. I am a bit heavier, a little smarter, much more wise, yet humble. We are all grown up now ya'll ....Wow. It is now 2008, and we are that much closer to becoming the MASH (Mansion, Apartment, Shack, House....ya'll remember that game?) people we always looked forward to becoming. I am half way there as I am now married, we have a nice home, 2 vehicles, and are in the preparation and planning phases of brining a little one (or two) into the world. On a personal and religious note, I have always had the will to do what is right and to love my neighbor. However it wasn't until my junior year in college (after pledging Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated) that I made up my mind completely, to serve the True God and Almighty Sovereign of the universe, Jehovah God. So after a thorough study of the Holy Scriptures that lasted over 1.5 years, on December 30, 2000 I gave my life to Jehovah and was baptized in the name of his son, Jesus Christ. At that moment I became a dedicated and baptized Jehovah's Witness. This is by far the best decision I could have ever made. As far as my educational and professional careers are concerned, I think I did well ya'll. As much of a love/hate experience that process was, I made it. My classmates there at Carver High voted me both "Brainiest Guy" and "Most Likely to Succeed" as part of our 1996 Senior Class Superlatives. While this came as a surprise to me then (as I had no idea my classmates viewed me in that light) it has made me nothing but proud to this day. I have worked extremely hard since graduating from Carver, and I hope the next four paragraphs will make the Carver Class of 1996 proud. The following four paragraphs is an excerpt taken from my professional biography, developed at the request of one of my college professors there at UMES. This information should fill in any remaining gaps as to what I have been doing with myself, post grammar school and college: "Jason Boardley is a Corporate Audit Manager for the PNC Financial Services Group, headquartered in Pittsb...Expand for more

Finally, I want to tell all of you that in someway or another, you have each played a part in helping me to become who I am today. Past classmates, LBs, friends, teammates, girlfriends, colleagues, teachers, professors, etc..., thank you. I have attached a few pictures to this site to give a few visuals, hopefully making this reunion complete. If you haven't done so already, get at me. Leave me a note, an email message, sign my guestbook, or all of the above. Whatever you decide to do, keep in touch. Oh, and please update your respective pages so that we can catch up in the interim. Ya Boy, Jason (a.k.a Jay, JB, Boardley, or X-Factor a.k.a Problem Child if you are out of that ICE COLD BLACK and OLD GOLD 1906 Mob).
