Jason's Story
Wow, where the years have gone. It has been nearly 9 years since I left Montana for good and 15 years since I left Great Falls. I have been back several times and enjoyed my time there immensely, however, I am very satisfied with life in the North West and love living in the Seattle Metro area. I love hanging out with friends and family so drop a line if you are in the area.
I am currently a Middle School Behavior Intervention Specialist. My program works with students in grades 6-8 that have been diagnosed with a emotional or behavioral disability. I have been doing this work for about 7 years now and have really found my passion in working with Middle School aged youth. I am working on completing my masters in educational administration this year and am currently doing my Principal Internship in my school building. ...Expand for more
I will complete the program in the spring of '09 and look forward to finding a job in the Seattle Public Schools at the secondary level. I do hope that one day I will be able to return to Montana.
I am married to a beautiful and wonderful woman named Katie. She is also a teacher, but teaches at Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way, WA. She graduated from Whitworth College in 2003 and and we met our first year of teaching in Federal Way. Who knew that 2 years later we would be married.
Katie and I do not have any children at this time, but we have two beautiful black labs that were rescued from shelters here in WA. KC is the oldest and is in my arm and Jaki is the youngest and biggest of the two next to Katie in the picture. This is the ihdefam.
