Jason's Story
After high school, I moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech and study Nuclear Engineering. I had a great time in school, played in the band, went to football and basketball games, met some great friends (and my future wife, Toni), and even went to a few classes. Eventually, I figured out that I wasn't meant to be a "Helluva Engineer" and left school to pursue other options.
I started working for a small software developer in Atlanta in 1993. I soon decided to begin taking classes at night and earned a BS in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University in 1997. I later became a partner in the same software company and...Expand for more
now own the company outright.
Toni and I have two daughters, which we have decided to homeschool. We live on the east side of Atlanta and are actively involved in our church and two homeschool groups. I also sing and play tuba with the Sons of Jubal, a music ministry of the Ga Baptist Convention. I have been blessed with the opportunity to sing with this group around the state and on a mission trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
I recently went back to school and am working on a Masters of Divinity degree in Worship Studies from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary through their North Georgia Hub in Atlanta.
