Jason's Story
Following high school, I attended Cal. I worked as a student manager on the men's basketball team. My last year there was Jason Kidd's freshman year, when we beat Duke in the NCAA tournament.
After graduating from Cal, I got my Master's in Sports Administration from Ohio University, a small school in Athens, OH. It's the oldest program in the nation for it.
Upon leaving Ohio, I was lucky enough to attain an internship with the Chicago Bulls. Lucky because it was one game after Michael Jordan came back from his retirement from playing baseball.
The internship quickly turned into a full-time gig and I spent five yea...Expand for more
rs (1995-2000) with the Bulls. The first three years were the last 3 championships.
I met my wife Labor Day Weekend in 1997 at a wedding at Quail Lodge in Carmel. She moved out to Chicago and we married in 2000.
When we moved back to California (San Jose) in 2000, I got out of sports and into pharmaceutical sales, which I am still doing now.
We have two wonderful kids, son Jared (11/02) and daughter Kacey (10/05) and an awesome Shih-Tzu named Oski (08/00).
I get my sports fix via many fantasy sports and try to get out to play golf when I can. I still watch a lot of TV and listen to '80s music as much as possible.
