Jay's Story
Life
What do you want to know? Well, I have fourwonderful kids (Brian 16, Jayden 14, Jarrett 11, and Blake 9) and a beautiful, loving wife (Marietta). We built a new house in August of 2007. I hate to brag but it is awesome, almost 4000 square feet! I teach high school boy's P.E. and driver's education in the Penn Yan Central School District, and coached varsity boy's basketball, JV, and modified. I participate in triathlons and completed three well-known events: Ironman Florida in November 2008, Lake Placid Ironman in July 2007, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in 2006. ing to participate in the November 2008 Florida Ironman. I love surfing the net (way too much!) and try to stay busy and active as much as I can.
Workplace
I teach high school boy's P.E. in the Penn Yan Central School District. I have taught there the past nine years (3yrs elementary, 6yrs high school). I also coach boy's varsity basketball.
I recently (summer of 2008) became an entrepreneur. I opened up an online business selling sports books and videos. If it continues to go well, as it has the last two months, I might be looking at a very early retirement from teaching!!!!
