Married to Peter LeBlond in 1985.

Adopted our first son, Jonathan, in 1991, our second, Daniel in 94. (I've got to be the oldest mom on record!)

e I taught. Currently am heavily involved in advocating for better schools, particularly in the area of providing Reading instruction that works for dyslexic and learning disabled children.
Currently volunteering as a Reading Teacher for three teen boys who are in juvenile detention.
