Jean's Story
Life
Married right out of high school. Had two boys now ages 30 and 31. Divorced after 20 years. Lived in Ohio, Boulder, CO, Minneapolis, MN and I am a flight attendant/purser for United Airlines based in Chicago. Remarried.
I'm living in the San Antonio area at this time, still commuting to Chicago. I am a grandmother of two boys ages 9 and 11. And I finally have a granddaughter, Veda born September 27, 2011. Work keeps me busy, gardening, hosting parties, and artwork fills the rest of my time. I'm also a great cook. I attended the Cooking School of the Rockies in Boulder, CO. I get back to Michigan occasionally. I am a cat lover, always have been. Right now I have just one cat, Ripley kitten. I will post a photo soon. My lovely Crissy Kay (kitty) passed away in May 2012. Such a beauty is so missed.
I still have siblings in Michigan and try to get back now and then. Check out my photo page. How about you?-let's catch up.
School
My biggest crush? I never revealed it while at CH...Expand for more
HS and I'm not going to now! The teacher that inspired me the very most was Miss Garrett (Mrs. Sullivan later). Yes, I would do some things differently if done over again, but mostly CHHS was a good experience. Funniest, happiest, or craziest? I guess when Brian Harelton and I won the watermelon eating contest during class games in our senior year. I had never done it before and when I took my first dainty little bite Mrs. Glud just rolled her eyes. I learned very quickly how to wolf down watermelon! We won. The memories from the all school plays as well as the class plays especially the "Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch" and "To Kill a Mockingbird." And who couldn't just love American Culture class? I also had fun and crazy moments with the prom committee and homecoming preparations. (our floats were the best) Remember working all night the last night at Patty Pluta's house and sacking out on the floor? I could go on and on but, I'd like to hear from you about your memories also.
